I thought I’d write a little update on our pup, Rupert.
He is now 7 months old and is soooo much bigger than he was 5 months ago when we brought him home. (See this post for baby Rupert). It’s gone so quick, but at the same time I can’t really remember what Joff and I did without him!
There’s no doubting the fact that dogs are full on little creatures, particularly when they are young. I actually prefer him every day he gets older. Sounds crazy when you see such cute photos of him when he was so little, but they don’t really appreciate your cuddles and strokes as much when they are that young…
…they just want to play, sleep and poop!
We get a lot more back from him now he’s a little older. He’s much more likely to come up to us for his head to be stroked, or he’ll sit with us just because he wants to be close.
Don’t get me wrong, he’s still only 7 months, he has his crazy moments. He needs his walks to calm him down and lots of stimulation, but we can see more and more what he’s going to be like as an adult …and that’s a pretty chilled, friendly, nice natured doggy with lots of personality.
I always said I wasn’t a dog person, but I do love him and I think it’s impossible not to.
He’s a cutie.
